Tried to match this all over the country and it’s second to none. Hands down best libation ever made!
Crispy Oyster Mushrooms
These mushrooms were delicious, but what made them even better was the trio of sauces they were served with. I can't lie: I've never been a fan of chimichurri sauce. However, the chimichurri sauce they serve with these mushrooms is divine. It was a toss-up between getting these mushrooms and the onion soup, and I'm glad we chose this appetizer. Also, the portion size is decent, so if you're sharing with another person or two, it'll be sufficient. Any more than that and you'll likely want to order a second.
Citrus Upside Down Cake
This was an outstanding meal. The tomahawk steak and ribeye were cooked to perfection. The mushroom appetizer is a menu item not to be overcooked! Finishing off our meal , theFruit Crumble topped it off. I haven't mentioned the cocktails that were made to perfection It was truly a delicious meal coupled with world-class service. The only regret, the Orr House, Durango is not closer.

Ribeye* - 14 oz
Perfectly cooked and properly seasoned. There was a nice rendered fat layer, but it wasn't overly fatty like some ribeyes can be. It was trimmed nicely. Try it with the house steak sauce--you won't be disappointed!
Dry Aged Tomahawk*
As a formers server of 5 years at a steakhouse, I can truly say this was the best steak I’ve ever had. The temperature was cooked to perfection (I ordered rare) and the last bite tasted just as good as the first. If you’re looking for a quality entree that you won’t forget (not just because you will probably take lots of pictures of its presentation) get the tomahawk! Don’t let the $141 price persuade you. Thank you Ore House for a truly memorable dining experience. Would order again 10/10.
We always enjoy your delicious steaks, but we thought that we would venture out and dive into the scallops this time. They were divine!! Reagan and her dining staff all stopped by to say hello! This is the best restaurant in Durango!! We always enjoy having conversation with Mark, Ian, Tybe, Dalton and Dan! They are the most hospitable gentleman around! We miss seeing Sierra who is always so pleasant as well! See you all soon!

Prime Tomahawk Ribeye*
Reagan and our server gave us great recommendations. This steak was the best we've had. Done to perfection. Our sides included the green beans and mushrooms. Everything was very flavorful and fabulous.
